About the teacher: Venerable Thubten Kalden is a Brazilian monk who currently shares the Dharma through lectures and meditation in various locations around the world.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and raised in a small town in the mountains near Rio, Venerable Kalden left Brazil and the corporate world of investment when he was 25 to travel.
