This yearβs Metta Festival will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Metta Centre, with Buddhist monastics from various traditions flying in from all around the world to attend this special event. We will start the morning with a Mahadana of alms offering of rice to monastics (pindapata), followed by a picnic lunch. The day will be filled with Buddhist performances, guided meditation, group reflections, opportunities to meet Buddhist monks, nuns and practitioners, and stalls. This is a rare opportunity for the Fourfold Sangha from all major Buddhist traditions to be in attendance together at the same event, and for us to meet with esteemed Buddhist monastics.
